The IEC National Awards shine a spotlight on the incredible talent within our membership, celebrating exceptional skill, outstanding accomplishments, forward‑thinking leadership, and inspiring innovation.

INSTRUCTIONS
Step One: Review all award opportunities here.
Step Two: Go to the Awards platform here: https://iecawards.secure-platform.com/site
To log in (if you already have an account) - you will see the log in fields on the left of the screen.
To create an account, you will click My Account in the upper right corner. Complete the fields and click Register.
Step Three: Now you can begin a new submission. There are two ways to access the 2026 Awards Nomination submission form.
Once logged in, you will see this sentence: Start a new award category: Click here to start a New Application. Click the 'New Application' link.

Step Four:
- The person who is completing the nomination submission is considered the 'Primary Collaborator' and will be the person who finalizes and submits.
- If you are nominating someone else and need their assistance with populating responses, you will add them as a 'Collaborator'.
- Use the SAVE button on the nomination form to save information as it is entered. Do not click SAVE AND FINALIZE on the form UNTIL your Collaborator has notified you that the form is ready to submit.
To add a Collaborator, click the blue button at the top right 'Manage Collaborators'.

And then click 'Add Collaborator'.

Once a Collaborator is added, he/she will receive a system generated email with the link to the portal.
When the Collaborator logs in, he/she will see an 'Incomplete' listed under My Applications on the left side of the screen. This is the nomination form to be updated.
Note: Only one user can be editing a nomination form at a time. The platform will lock the record as one user is editing it to avoid accidental overwriting of another's information.
IMPORTANT: The Collaborator should notify the Primary Collaborator when they have finished populating fields.
The Primary Collaborator is the person who can submit the finalized submission form. If that person prefers to 'transfer' their primary role over to the other Collaborator, click the 'Manage Collaborators' button and next to the Collaborator's name, click 'Make Primary'. (Access can also be removed from a Collaborator by clicking 'Remove Access'.)
Step Five: Once you have submitted your nomination, you will receive notification of your submission within the portal and via the confirmation page/email.
Final Phase: The nomination process will run from April 1 to July 15, 2026. Judging will be finalized by the end of August. IEC National will notify all award finalists in each category by September 1. Winners will be notified and honored in person at the SPARK 2026 Awards Ceremony on Friday, October 23 in Columbus, Ohio.
